So you want to know more about my past and aspiring YouTube partnerships do you?
I'll try to keep this long story as short as possible:

Back in 2007 (a lifetime ago), I started creating short YouTube videos, I had 3 channels but only 1 was successful.
It was primarily focused on Stop Motion animations with WWE Action Figures.
But along with stop motion videos, I also created longer form "comedy" videos.
This was apparently the bread and butter of the channel, because the longer videos brought the views. I mean millions of them:

**Watch at your own risk, they are 5-10 min non-scripted videos full of cringy 2007-2009 wrestling references.
And yes, I've hit puberty since then.**
2,110,000 views
Created exactly one year after the first.
The only requirement for YouTube partnership up until 2010 was to have a video with a million views - my video proves it's not impossible to achieve. However, there wasn't a lot of money in YouTube back in 2010, so I only made a couple hundred dollars.

However, it did push me to go to Mohawk College for Advertising and the rest of my Ad history writes itself.

8 years into the industry, the Corona Virus hits and ended the full time gig I thought I'd be placing my roots at.
While freelance gigs help pay the bills, I still wanted to find a way to fuel my creative fire.

One of my favourite genres on YouTube are called Video Essays, they are short docu-series on topics you find interesting.
Most video essays are on things like Music, Movies, Video Games, Sports, and even other YouTubers.

While I am interested in all those things, I found no one was really talking about the one thing that connects all the topics listed:

Advertising.

Enter the Advertising Cinematic Universe.

**I write and edit these myself. I'd much rather you watch these ones than the action figure videos.**
Did you know: The Baby Back Ribs jingle was written in 5 minutes by a Creative Director too embarrassed to give the project to his team?
Did you know: Playstation had to re-shoot a commercial after it aired because of a complaint from the Nigerian Government?
Did you know: Gatorade was going to use
"I wanna be like you" from the Jungle Book until Disney wanted $350,000 to licence the song?
When I started looking up some of my favourite ads, I found there was an interesting story in all of them.
These are the things the Advertising Cinematic Universe wants to explore.

And if you made it this far, please subscribe, it would really help me out :)
